Caring for Your Puppy
Before
you bring home your puppy, you should purchase a crate, bed,
collar, leash, identification tag, food and water bowls,
and toys.
What
your puppy needs:
Your Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy is a baby, and any like other
baby, its needs must be fully addressed if it ti grow into
a well-adjusted adult. While caring for the puppy, remember
the adult this dog will become and estabilish its place in
the family "pack" at the very beginning.
Crate training
A crate is essential. Some pet owners, especially first-time
owners, are reluctant to use a crate because they think
it is a cruel cage.
